Scientific study of maglev technologies

With trains, maglev technologies fascinate the public for their performance, including their very high speed. Many countries are interested in it for the development of a network and some have already invested in it. However are maglev technologies as interesting as the general vision?

Many scientific studies exist on either technologies, however none compare them rigorously. I decided, as a duo, to compile the existing results (travel time, cost of installation and maintenance, ...) of the two technologies and issue a report to compare them.
